PROGRAM A: Departure every Saturday

Saturday: Koh Samui – Koh Taen (D)
Transfer from your hotel at 13h00 Pm to the embarkation pier at Samui yacht club. Welcome drink on board and introduction
to the boat. At 14h00 starts to sail through the south-east cost of Koh Samui passing by Lamai beach and the visited grand
Father & grand mother rock. At sunset, arrive at Koh Taen Island, where you’ll anchor in time for a postcard sunset and
sumptuous meal of Thai cuisine on the boats teak deck and overnight on board Suwan Macha at anchor.
Sunday: Koh Taen – Archipelago of Ang Thong National Park (B, L, D)
At 08h00 am, enjoy an American breakfast on deck. At 09h00 am sail to the Archipelago of Ang Thong National park. Arrive
at Koh Paluai Island for lunch time. Spend the afternoon in the emerald waters of Ang Thong or take to a deserted white
sand beach to enjoy your own private sun-bathing, swimming or kayaking. Then sunset is yours to enjoy on deck with
succulent feast of Thai cuisine and overnight on board Suwan Macha at anchor.
Monday: Archipelago of Ang Thong National park (B, L, D)
At 08h00 am, enjoy an American breakfast on deck. At 10h00 am start a tour of the Archipelago of Ang Thong. Visit Koh
Mae Ko, the major attraction of this Island is Talae Nai, which features a closed lagoon connected to the sea by an
underwater cave and surrounded by mountain ranges. After the visit, lunch time the afternoon its leisure time for snorkeling
and kayaking, kayak under the rocky arch at Koh Sam Sao. Late afternoon, cruise to Koh Thong Thaeng arriving just before
sunset. After a delicious barbecue, specially prepared by the Captain on board, you can sit back and enjoy the peacefulness
of the night on Suwan Macha at anchor.

Tuesday: Koh Wua Ta Lap Island – Koh Samui (B, L)
At 08h00 am, enjoy an American breakfast on deck. At 10h00 Am check out of Suwan Macha (luggage will be transferred to
Seatran Ferry by our crew) go onshore visit the National Park Village, enjoy the view point. Time at leisure for snorkeling and
swimming. At 12.00 Lunch on board Seatran Ferry on it way to Kho Mae Ko, after lunch time at leisure until 15h00 returns by
ferry to Koh Samui. Transfer to your hotel and arrive at 18:00.

PROGRAM B: Departure every Tuesday

Tuesday: Koh Samui – Koh Wua Ta Lap Island (L, D)
Transfer from your hotel at 7h00 Am to the embarkation pier at Nathon Pier. At 10.00 arrived with Seatran Ferry at Koh Wua
Ta Lap Island. Visit the National Park Village, enjoy the view point. Time at leisure for snorkeling, swimming. At 12.00 lunch
aboard Seatran Ferry on it way to Kho Mae Ko, after lunch 13.00 welcome aboard the Suwan Macha and introduction to the
boat. The afternoon its leisure time for snorkeling and kayaking, kayak under the rocky arch at Koh Sam Sao. Late
afternoon, cruise to Koh Thong Thaeng, where you’ll anchor in time for a postcard sunset and sumptuous meal of Thai
cuisine on the boats teak deck and overnight on board Suwan Macha at anchor.

Wednesday: Archipelago of Ang Thong National Park (B, L, D)
At 08h00 am, enjoy an American breakfast on deck. At 10h00 am start a tour of the Archipelago of Ang Thong. Visit Koh

Thursday: Ang Thong National park – Koh Taen (B, L, D)
At 08h00 am, enjoy an American breakfast on deck. Morning enjoy time at leisure on a white send beach. At 12h00 am start
to sail to Koh Taen. Lunch time during cruises. Late afternoon arrived at Koh Taen before sunset. After a delicious barbecue,
specially prepared by the Captain on board, you can sit back and enjoy the peacefulness of the night on Suwan Macha at
anchor.
Friday: Koh Taen – Koh Samui (B)
At 08h00 am, enjoy an American breakfast on deck. At 10h00 am starts to sail through the south-east cost of Koh Samui
passing by Lamai beach and the visited grand Father & grand mother rock. At 13h00 arrive to the debarkation pier at Samui
yacht club then transfer to your hotel.

Vat Phou Cruise
3 Days / 2 NightsLeisurely Cruise Along – The Fascinating Mekong River in Southern Laos

Cruise the “Mother of Waters” to the wild paradise of the “4,000 islands” on the Vat Phou, your comfortable floating air conditioned teak hotel, with

twelve cabins, each with twin beds and private hot and cold running water bathrooms. Shaded upper deck for lounging, restaurant on board serving the finest Laotian,

Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. Beers, wines and spirits are also available on board.

Cruise Down River:
01 Nov to 30 Apr Departures every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday on a cruise down or cruise up
01 May’ to 31 Oct Departures every Saturday for cruise down From Pakse to the “Niagara of the East”, the discovery of one of the wonders of the world, the treasures of Khmer architecture.

Day 1: Pakse/Champassak/Vat Phou (L, D)
Early morning 10:30 a.m. departure from Pakse for Champassak, heading south aboard a local longtail riverboat, zigzagging through mild rapids and sand banks, arriving at Champassak in time for a riverside lunch, followed by a guided tour of the mysterious pre-Angkorian 10th century temple of Vat Phou, the boat’s namesake. As dusk falls board the Vat Phou for a relaxing cruise down-river, enjoying the tropical sunset on the deck, dinner is served on board, while the boat docks for the night alongside a remote Laotian village.

Day 2: Huei Thamo / Oum Moung Temple / Khong Island (B, L, D)
Breakfast on board as we set sail for the village of Huei Thamo, only a few minutes walk away from the spectacular hidden forest temple of Oum Moung. Afterwards rejoin the boat for a cruise southwards and lunch on the deck, while we continue our leisurely sail further south to the wild paradise of the “4,000 islands”, arrived in the afternoon closed to Khong Island (the birthplace of the President of the Peoples republic of Laos) at Ban Dua Tae, and visit this traditional Laotian Village where the traditional way of life has not changed in centuries. Back on board for quiet dinner, under the stars, serenaded by the songs by the songs of the buffalo toads.

Day 3: Ban Veuthong/ the “Niagara of the East/ Xieng Di/ Pakse (B, L)
Breakfast on the deck, while cruising to the small village of Ban Veuthong where we will board a small long-tail boat to Khone Island. After visit, take a long tailboat back to the main land for lunch amid the by-gone splendid of another age; colorful French colonial houses and an old customs post, alongside a stone quay. Take a minivan to amazingly scenic splendor of the Khong Pha Peng waterfall, “the Niagara of the East“, close to the Cambodian border. Back to “civilization, for the two hours ride to Pakse, arriving in the afternoon, about 3:50 p.m.

Cruise Up River (the same tour but in reverse):
01 Nov’07 to 30 Apr’08 Departures every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday on a cruise down or cruise up
01 May’08 to 31 Oct’08 Departures every Tuesday for cruise up From Pakse to the “Niagara of the East” the discovery of one of the wonders of the world, the treasures of Khmer architecture.

Day 1: Pakse/ Xieng Di / Khone Island (L, D)
On arrival at Pakse, drive to the spectacular roaring falls of Khone Pha Pheng, the “Niagara of the East” and the fishing village of Xieng Di for lunch at local restaurant and where you will board a long tail boat for a visit to Khone Island. After visit, take long tail boat to the Khong Island village of Ban Veuthong, where you will board the waiting Vat Phou for a sunset cruise and dinner, docked riverside for the night.

Day 2: Khong Island / Oum Moung Temple / Huei Thamo (B, L, D)
Breakfast on board Vat Phou as we set sail to Ban Dua Tae, and visit this traditional Laotian Village after the visit we sail North, past the island of Don Xai, and into a myriad of islands of all shapes and sizes, the wild paradise of ‘4,000 islands.’ Enjoy the lunch during cruising North to the island of Don Daeng, to visit the village of Huei Thamo and the mysterious Oum Moung forest temple, just a few minutes walk way. Dinner “Under the stars”, aboard Vat Phou.

Day 3: Ban Wat Luang Kao / Vat Phou / Champassak / Pakse (B, L)
While enjoying breakfast on board, the Vat Phou continues its cruise to Ban Wat Luang Kao, where you will join a guided tour by bus to the tenth century pre-Angkorian temple of Vat Phou, after which you will return by bus to Champassak in time for lunch, and the final cruise to Pakse, with arrival in the afternoon.

LuangSay and Kamu Lodges
3 Days / 2 Nights Cruise On the Mekong River

PROGRAM DOWN:
• From 01 Nov  to 30 Apr  and 1-31 Oct , departs every Monday, Thursday and Friday.
• From 01 Nov  to 30 Apr  and 1-31 Oct , departs as well on Sunday with Pakou 1.
• From 01 May  – 30 Sep  departs every Monday and Friday

Day 1: HOUEI SAY – PAKBENG
The LuangSay boat departs from Houeisay pier at 09h00 for a cruise down the Mekong River to Pak Beng. One stop is made to
visit and admire the authentic rural life of hill tribe settlements. A delicious Buffet lunch is served on board. The boat will arrive at
LuangSay Lodge before sunset for overnight stop. Dinner is served at terrace overlooking the Mekong River.

Day 2: PAKBENG – KAMU LODGE
Breakfast served at terrace around 07h30. In the morning visit the morning market (Optional) of Pak Beng where the nearby
villagers and hill tribes buy and exchange their goods. Luangsay Boat departs at 08h30 a.m. for her second part of trip; boat
makes another stop at Ban Baw to observe the processing traditional rice alcohol. Lunch is again served on board; then the boat
cruise to Kamu Village. The boat will arrived at 14h00 in Kamu Lodge for the check in. In the afternoon you may choose to
participate in the different activities. You will be rewarded with a very original Lao experience.
• Rice planting and harvesting in surrounding rice fields

• Gold panning (January to June) in the Mekong. Anything you find is yours!
• Jungle walks to search for medicinal plants
• Trekking through the forest to waterfalls (two hour hike and boat ride)
• Traditional fishing techniques. You can sample your catch for dinner!

Day 3: KAMU LODGE – LUANG PRABANG
Breakfast at lodge, after some time to relax and a visit to the village of Kamu, cruise down to Luang Prabang (UNESCO world
heritage city) by Kamu boat to Pak Ou village at the mouth of Nam Ou River, boat stops for a trip to visit Tam Ting ‘Caves of
thousand Buddha’s’ then arrive Luang Prabang before Lunch.

Day 1: LUANG PRABANG – KAMU LODGE
The Kamu boat departs from Luang Prabang pier at 09h00 for a cruise up the Mekong River to Kamu Village. On the way to Pak Ou Village, at the mouth of the Nam Ou River a visit is organized to Tam Ting “Caves of a thousand Buddha’s”. Then boat to Kamu Village, arrival at Kamu lodge and check-in. Lunch at the Lodge’s Sala. In the afternoon you may choose to participate in the different activities. You will be rewarded with a very original Lao experience.

• Rice planting and harvesting in surrounding rice fields
• Gold panning (January to June) in the Mekong. Anything you find is yours!

The boat will arrived at LuangSay Lodge before sunset for overnight stop. Dinner is served at terrace overlooking the Mekong River.

Day 3: PAKBENG – HOUEISAY
Breakfast served at terrace around 6h30 a.m. In the morning visit the morning market (Optional) of Pak Beng where the nearby villagers and hill tribes buy and exchange their goods. Boat departs at 07:30 a.m. for her second part of trip. One stop is made to visit and admire the authentic rural life of hill tribe settlements. Lunch is again served on board. Reaching Houeisay before 17h00 (you may proceed to Chiang Rai in the same day.)

Your Contract for all tour arrangements is directly with our Associate Company in Thailand to whom payment for the tour is made.

2. You pay eight weeks prior to arrival in xxxxxx, or on Acceptance – 50% of the total in US $, by Credit Card or International Bank

3. On arrival in xxxxxx– the balance of 50% is payable, in US $, by Credit Card or Cash.

Cancellation Charges

35 days prior to arrival a cancellation fee of US$200 per person will be applicable.
30 days notice of cancellation a fee of 25% of the total amount will be applicable.
25 days notice of cancellation a fee of 50% of the total amount will be applicable
Less than 25 days notice incurs the full amount.

Lao visa issued overseas

  • It’s possible to get a visa before departure.  Passengers have to pay the visa fees directly to the Lao Consulate abroad. (Please check with yourConsulate/Embassy regarding the conditions.)

Lao visa on Arrival
It is possible to obtain a visa on arrival at following border points:

  • Wattay International Airport in Vientiane
  • Luang Prabang Airport
  • The Friendship Bridge in Nong Khai
  • Chiang Khong in Chiang Rai/ Houeisay Immigration in Northern Laos
  • Piboon Mungsaharn / Chongmek in Southern Laos
  • Mookdaharn / Suvannakhet
  • Cost is at USD 30 per person and 3 photos per person are required.

Lao visa issued in Bangkok
You can get the Lao visa stamped in Bangkok without a letter of approval.  The Lao Embassy in Bangkok needs 2 full working days for visa arrangement.  The Cost is US$

50 per person (subject to nationality).
