Introducing you to the most beautiful biker’s dream Highland tour of Northern Thailand. This tour heads for the highest mountain peak in Thailand, then continues along the mountain pass of 1864 bends to arrive in Maehongson, a town rich in tradition and culture, home town of the famous Karen Long Neck tribe. You then head along the winding mountain road to the Golden triangle, where the legendary Maekong river divides three countries –Thailand, Mynmar(Burma) and Laos, then return along road traveling through indigenous forest, Thai villages and farm lands to Chiang Mai.

Welcome to a great Motorcycle journey. Our tour guide will meet you at the airport, and transfer you directly to your hotel, where you can freshen-up and relax.
In the evening we will arrange a meet and greet, where you have the opportunity to meet others on your tour.
Thai Bike Voyage will provide a tour briefing, and arrange a local personality to inform you of local history, geography and answer any other questions related to the tour.
Day 1/5 : Chiangmai – Inthanon – MaeHongson – Distance 337 Kms.
Early Morning cruise out of Chiang Mai, heading South on a mountain pass, ascending to the highest mountain peak in Thailand- Doi Intanon National Park.
On route you visit waterfalls and observe breathtaking scenery. Continue riding steep, winding roads through indigenous forest to Mae-Cham, a Thai village in
a valley surrounded by mountains. You will relax in the village for lunch at local Thai restaurant. After Lunch continue along the scenic mountain pass through beautiful jungle, wild sunflower fields, and traditional farm lands until you reach your hotel in Maehongson.
Day 2/5 : Maehongson – Pai – Chiang Dao – Distance 284 Kms.
After breakfast,.early morning ride along winding roads with more than 1800 curves through beautiful mountain jungle and farm lands. You then head off to visit Lod Cave, where you can relax or take a short tour on a bamboo raft through the cave. Continue riding the winding scenic road to Pai for lunch, at a resort restaurant.
After lunch continue along winding mountain road until you reach Pa Pae Hot Spring, where you can relax or enjoy a walk along the stream trail until you reach the geyser. You then head off through local villages and farm land along mountain pass to your hotel at Chiang Dao.
Day 3/5 : Chiang Dao –Thaton – Golden Triangle – Distance 275 Kms.
After early breakfast commence riding along the winding road to Chiang Dao cave where you will visit Budha statues inside the cave. You continue along a winding road through small Thai towns, and indigenous mountain forest. Continue along the very scenic winding road to visit the Chinese mountain village of Doi Mae Salong. After a good meal,rest and some local Chinese tea, you continue on to the gardens at the Royal King’s Mother Palace at Doi Tung. After relaxing at the beautiful flower gardens, you continue along the mountain pass to MaeSai on the Thai-Burmese border, where you can do souvenir shopping at the Local Market. You continue along the minor road through local Thai villages, rice fields and farm lands to your hotel at The Golden Triangle.
Day 4/5 : Golden Triangle – Chiang Rai – Lampang – Distance. 280 Kms.
After early morning breakfast you head off to visit the ancient Thai city of Chiang-Sean where you will see the ruins of temples, stupas, and moat. Close by you can visit the Opium museum. continue along the winding road through local Thai villages, and farm land, and then continue on the motorway through local Thai cities, and rice fields and relax for lunch at a restaurant in Chiang Rai. After Lunch you continue on the winding mountain road through indigenous forest until you reach Jaeson National Park where you can relax at a hot spring, before continuing the tour to your Hotel at Lampang.
Day 5/5 : Lampang – Chiang Mai – Distance 125 Kms.
After early morning breakfast you will ride through Lampang and visit two temples Wat Phra Kaeo Don Tao. This historic temple was the home of the famous Emerald Budha for 30 years, and Wat Phrathat Lampang Lunag, surrounded with a fortified wall and moat, which is dates back to 1486, and contains murals in good condition. After visitting the temples you then continue to visit the Elephant Conservation Center then take the new mountain super highway to Chiang Mai, where you will have lunch at a Thai restaurant. After lunch you will ride to visit the Old City of Chiang Mai and continue your journey up the mountain to visit Doi Suthep temple, the most famous temple in Chiang Mai. Ride back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

Your Contract for all tour arrangements is directly with Thailand Executive Travel, Thailand to whom payment for the tour is made.
2. Eight weeks prior to arrival in Thailand, or on Acceptance – 50% payable in thai Baht, by Credit Card or International Bank Transfer, direct to Thailand Executive Travel, Thailand.
3. On arrival in Thailand – 50% payable, in Thai Baht, by Credit Card or Cash.

35 days prior to arrival a cancellation fee of US$200 per person will be applicable.
30 days notice of cancellation a fee of 25% of the total amount will be applicable.
25 days notice of cancellation a fee of 50% of the total amount will be applicable

CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF THAI BIKE VOYAGE MOTORCYCLE TOURS
All motorcycle riders must have a valid motorcycle license, and have had the licence for 4 years or more, and must be over 25 years old. AThe guest will be required to
produce their original driver license and passport prior to commencing tour.
Thai Bike Voyage make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to events which are beyond our control. Passengers should note that motorcycle travel involves a higher than normal risk and a signed release is required by Thai Bike Voyage from all motorcycle riders and passengers before the tour commences. Thai Bike Voyage do not guarantee pick up or drop off times and are not liable for passengers connection to flights, trains etc. Thai Bike Voyage accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or baggage.
On completion of the tour, all speeding tickets, camera speeding fines, parking fines, or any other traffic fine must be paid to Thai Bike Voyage.
MOTORCYCLE SAFE RIDING CONDITIONS
Thai Bike Voyage wishes to maintain the highest standards of safety to ensure the well being of our guests. We therefore only ride the motorcycles in conditions where there is full visibility ie. during daylight hours, and when vision is not impaired by heavy rain. Motorcycles may only be ridden from sunrise to sunset. Only in the case of late arrival may Thai Bike Voyage motorcycles be ridden, and at reduced speed to reach the next destination. When rainfall occurs speed must be reduced to a sensible safe wet road surface handling speed based on the motorcyclists skill, until the nearest shelter is reached. Itinerary Disclaimer Thai bike voyage itineraries may change as we make improvements to our tours. Our brochures are updated when tour itinerarys change or the need arises. Thai Bike Voyage reserves the right to amend the tour route due to road works, weather conditions, or our new research information on routes. No refunds will be given due to any route change.
MOTORCYCLE PROTECTIVE GEAR
Thai Bike voyage strongly recommends that all protective clothing be worn. Thai Bike Voyage provides all motorcycle protective gear. If you require any special size clothing it would be preferable to bring the protective clothing with you. In Thailand motorcycle helmets are compulsory, boots, protective clothing, and gloves for riders and passengers are strongly advised
MEALS AND ALCOHOL
Thai Bike Voyage provide breakfast at the hotel, normally an international buffet, and lunch at a restaurant during the day tour, normally Thai food , and international buffet. Due to popular demand by guests to arrange their own Dinners Thai Bike Voyage do not provide dinner. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform us when booking so we can make the appropriate arrangements for you. The Companion vehicle always carries cool bottled water and cool refresher towels. Snacks can be purchased during stops. Thai Bike Voyage do not provide any alcohol on Tour, and do not allow any alcohol consumption during the day while motorcycles are in use. Guests may consume alcohol in the evening when the motorcycles are not in use.
TOUR GROUP SIZE
Tour may commence with not less than 2 riders. an additional 100% must be paid for a single rider tour to commence.
PILLION PASSANGERS AND GUESTS (NON MOTORCYCLE RIDERS)
Pillion passenger on motorcycle, and guests traveling in the Companion vehicle. an additional 40% of the tour cost must be paid.
Thai Bike Voyage will collect you from the airport, hotel, or your accommodation, at the beginning of the tour. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel, accommodation, or the airport.
All fuel is supplied by Thai Bike Voyage.
DAMAGE OR TECHNICAL FAILURES
Any damage, mechanical or electrical failure on any Thai Bike Voyage motorcycle must be reported to the tour leader immediately.
CLOTHING AND THAI SEASONS
Casual clothing is used everywhere, except when visiting temples, where short pants and skirts are not traditionally acceptable.
The 3 seasons in Thailand are Winter, Rainy season, and Summer WINTER From November to February, the days are warm, but evenings and mornings can be cool, and a light jersey may be used. Rainy Season- From July to October, the days temperature . Days are hot 21 to 30 deg. A rain coat is required. Summer –From March to June Days are 33 to 38 deg.
Thai bike Voyage provides the following Travel Accident Insurance included in the Tour fee:
Life Insurance Cover US$ 15,000.00
Total Disability, Loss of Sight US$ 15,000.00
Medical Accident Insurance: US$ 1,500.00
Any extended or additional Insurance coverage must be purchased by the guest.
Thai Bike Voyage does not provide personal insurance coverage for any other items, other than mentioned above. Thai Bike Voyage does not provide insurance coverage for, but not limited to, illness, damage, or theft of personal belongings, and not being able to travel on a confirmed departure date.
Thai Bike Voyage has 2 choices of insurance coverage for the motorcycle.

The excess deposit is held on a major credit card authorization and will be debited with the full excess deposit and refunded approximately 7 days after the motorcycle is
returned to Thai Bike Voyage. If any damage has occurred to the motorcycle, the damage costs will be converted to a debit.

B. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Cover
For an additional daily charge you can purchase a CDW to reduce your liability for the Excess included in the motorcycle insurance coverage.
