This fantastic itinerary lets you explore deep in the Mekong delta. Immerse yourself in the local cultures and traditions of the people living on the banks of this immense river.
You will cycle down narrow laneways, along single river tracks, over quaint bridges and over ferry crossings all the while taking in the atmosphere of the bamboo villages as you pass by. There will be chance to get an insight into the old French colonial days and learn about the architecture which is still visible from times gone by. Take a boat down narrow hidden waterways before returning to reality.

Cycle the Mekong Delta 3 days

Explore the fertile and lush flood plains of the Mekong Delta by bicycle and witness the wonders of the Mekong Delta at a pace ideal for soaking up its splendour. En route we visit a Cao Dai temple, an area populated by the Khmer people, delightful fruit orchards and the complex maze of waterways that interlace the scenic landscape of the delta. Our modern lightweight European bikes make exploring this part of the country an enjoyable and relatively easy experience and there is a support vehicle on hand if necessary.

Luang-Prabang cycling, Laos 4 days

Surrounded by thickly forested mountains and situated at the confluence of the Khan and Mekong Rivers, Luang Prabang has a tranquil, old world charm rarely found in Asia today. This fascinating town was the capital of the Lane Xang (million elephants) kingdom until the mid-sixteenth century. In colonial times it served as a provincial headquarters of the north. The legacy of the European presence here – well preserved French architecture and careful street planning – has blended delightfully with more than 30 gilded Buddhist temples to create a town rich in atmosphere and history.

Mini Angkor Adventure Cambodia

This is a fun itinerary for the young at heart, with no fitness training required. The cycling and landscape is flat and the trekking easy-going.
